CPR and the use of defibrillation are proven to restart the heart and save thousands of lives. Unfortunately, there are times when even the best equipment, the best medical professional, a well- trained bystander in the best conditions could not keep a person from dying.

Everyone eventually dies. It is only a matter of when. Many believe that death is the end of all things but friend, I want to tell you that death is only the beginning of eternity.

The following can be blunt and graphic and may be upsetting. If you do not want to read further, please leave the page but I do encourage you to continue. It was written out of, through and because of love. You, by now, should know where this is leading to.

I am NOT here to force religion on you. By all means, if you do not want to continue reading, you can always exit out of this page or look at another website. I am writing instead to INVITE you to continue reading and to at least consider the love and the gift of God, which is eternal life, through his Son, Jesus Christ.

I am talking about CPR+ (Christ’s Pulseless Resuscitation). CPR is good for the body but CPR+ is good for the soul.

Life does not end like the turning on and off of a lightbulb. It continues on forever. The Bible says there are only two places that a person goes to when they die- eternal peace and joy in Heaven or eternal torment and suffering in Hell. The Bible does not state that there is a place called purgatory or such a thing as reincarnation. After death, you are judged by one thing, and one thing alone.

According to the Bible, we are all going to Hell. In Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. This verse says, there is nothing we can do ourselves to get to Heaven. Giving to the poor, caring for the sick, the widows, going to church, being a priest, being a spouse or a child of a priest, following the rules- all this ‘comes short’ to going to Heaven. In fact, the Bible says in Isaiah 54:6, it says, But we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousness are as filthy rags.

What are you judged by? It is what we are, ALL OF US- we are all sinners.

No one is better than anyone. No one is holier than anyone. No one can be better than anyone. The Bible says, What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jew and Gentiles, that they are all under sin. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one (Romans 3:9-10)

Are you mad by this statement? Then, ask yourself, are you really that good? You’ve never lied, cheated, never proud, lusted after something or – someone?

The point is that we must realize that we are sinners who have and continues to sin no matter how hard we try not to- by that point alone, we are heading to Hell. In Romans 6:23a, it says, For the wages of sin is death… However, there is another point… There is a way out before it is too late.

In the Bible, Jesus says in John 14:6, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: NO MAN cometh unto the Father but by me. You see, the Bible says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life.

There is nothing we could do ourselves to go to Heaven. Remember earlier? The wages or the payment of our sin is death- OUR ETERNAL SUFFERING AND TORMENT IN HELL. BUT… God provided a way for us through His Son, Jesus. Instead of our death, Jesus took our place willingly because he loved us… AND CONTINUES TO LOVE US. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

In 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4, it says, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and-  GUESS WHAT?- that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures. This is the Gospel and this is the truth. Jesus paid and died for our sins and he also rose and conquered death!

My friend, a Loving God become a Perfect Loving Man to die as payment for our sins only to rise again proving who He is and what He has done for us. All He asks is for us to believe in Him.

So if hypothetically you’re asking, what must I do to be saved?

The Philippian Jailer that Paul and Silas stopped from committing suicide asked the same thing in Acts 16:25-40. Paul said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

And thy house- that doesn’t mean your family immediately becomes saved. They still have to make their own decision in regard to their own salvation. But it does mean that you gave them a better opportunity to be saved through the testimony of your salvation and introducing them to what the Lord Jesus could do for their lives and, more importantly, for their eternal soul.

Jesus is the only way to salvation. You cannot save yourself. I’ll admit to a couple of things:
1. I cannot show you statistical and physical evidence for Heaven.
2. I cannot show you statistical and physical evidence for Hell.
3. I cannot show you miracles that people today want to see like bringing people out of their graves.
4. I cannot show you people surviving a fiery oven.
5. I cannot show you someone who was unhurt by lions.
6. I cannot even command a storm to stop or seen someone do so.
7. I cannot physically conjure Jesus to talk to you.
8. I cannot and will not even try to conjure the Devil to talk to you.

I can only tell you one thing- I wouldn’t want to risk an eternity in Hell.

My proof is what Jesus has done for me in my life, my faith in Him and my King James Bible.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved (Acts 16:31). For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

Yes. If all you had to do was go to Jerusalem, pray 30 times a day, or kiss some person’s ring, wouldn’t you do it?

Jesus did everything at the cross. We do not have to do anything but believe. The Bible says, For by grace are ye SAVED THROUGH FAITH; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8- 9).

Remember, where you spend eternity is determined not by how you lived it but by one decision you make.

Do you believe? Will you talk to Jesus and tell him you believe that only He can save a sinner such as yourself? 2 Corinthians 6:2 says,… Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

If you would like to know more, please come to church and let us show you in the Bible the love of God and listen to what He has done for us.
